Wildfire Risks to Perinatal Health
This research thesis explores how Canadian perinatal healthcare providers address wildfire-related risks with their patients. Further, we will investigate how perinatal/environmental key informants promote awareness and preparedness for the growing threats of wildfire exposure.
Eligible participants: Canadian perinatal healthcare providers
Hepatitis B Vaccination Study
Hepatitis B virus infection is a major global health problem, with Sub Saharan African (SSA) countries such as Nigeria hyper-endemic. Hepatitis B infection causes health problems for adults but also infants and children, who once infected during pregnancy are infected for life.
Eligible participants: women who have immigrated to Ontario from a Sub- Saharan African country
