NHANES Occupational  Occupational Sectors and Adverse Reproductive Health Outcomes

occupational health.jpg

It is well established that occupational factors influence fertility and pregnancy outcomes. Occupational and environmental health topics have permeated government policy, community development and advocacy, and help shape our consumer practices, food and product choices, particularly during periods of conception and perinatal/neonatal development.

We have used NHANES- an American cross-sectional survey- to evaluate potential associations between (i) infertility diagnosis, and (ii) pregnancy loss and occupational job sector.
